During a panel at FanExpo Denver, Alan Tudyk shared information about a new podcast he’s been making with fellow Firefly actor Nathan Fillion called Once, We Were Spacemen, confirming that it won’t just be Firefly actors who will appear as guests.
Screen Rant: I’d like to know if you could tell us a little bit about Once, We Were Spacemen.
Alan Tudyk: Oh! [Laughs] Right. So, nobody knows this thing because we haven’t…So, Nathan Fillion and I are going to do – I know you’re gonna be like, ‘I’ve never heard of anyone doing this before,’ – but we’re gonna do a podcast. We wanted to, you know, break some ground where we talk to our favorite, uh, sci-fi actors and other actors. People who were on Firefly, people who were not on Firefly, and sometimes we just talk to each other. Thrilling. It is interesting how much we do get along, talking to one another. I hope people enjoy that, but, um, I have no date to tell you when we’re gonna… We’ve done a lot of ’em. We have, like, a bank of Once, We Were Spacemen, [which is] the name of the show. And, when we do finally…You see, Nathan’s kind of in charge of that. He’s kind of in charge of everything. He’s the captain. So, once the captain lets me know what’s going on with that…As it stands, I just show up and do my part.
