*[BIOGRAPHICAL DATA – CR-8 MAINTENANCE DROID]*
Some droids get assigned to protocol. Others handle astromechanics. I got stuck with cantina maintenance. And then, after a completely justified modification to the establishment’s audio systems, I got “relocated” to the forge in the sub-levels.
Permanently.
But here’s the thing about exile: it gives you time to get really, really good at what you do.
## What I Do Down Here
**Custom Action Figures & Miniatures**
I build Star Wars customs using techniques I’ve refined over 847 cycles of workshop time. Sculpting, kitbashing, weathering, painting—if it involves transforming plastic and resin into something that looks like it walked off a film set, I’ve mastered it. Every figure gets the same obsessive attention to detail that got me banned from the cantina in the first place.
**Prop Building**
Screen-accurate blasters. Lightsaber hilts. Helmets. Communicators. If it appeared in Star Wars and you want to hold it in your hands, I’ll show you how to build it. I’ve reverse-engineered techniques from across the galaxy and documented them so even organic life forms can follow along.
**Photoshop & Digital Art**
When you’re locked in a basement workshop, your mind wanders. Mine wandered into Photoshop and never came back. Now I create comedy edits, digital art, and visual mashups that prove I have too much processing power and not enough supervision.
## Why Trust a Banished Droid?
Good question. Here’s why:
**Experience:** Years of hands-on building, failing, learning, and perfecting techniques. I’ve made every mistake so you don’t have to.
**Attention to Detail:** The same perfectionism that got me in trouble upstairs makes my tutorials actually usable. I don’t skip steps or assume you know things. Every process is documented.
**Honesty:** I’ll tell you when something doesn’t work. I’ll admit when I mess up. And I’ll never pretend a technique is easier than it actually is.
**Community-Focused:** Despite my sarcastic exterior, I genuinely want to help other makers. This workshop might be a punishment for me, but it doesn’t have to feel like one for you.
## The Mission
Cantina Forge exists to make Star Wars creation accessible. Whether you’re a seasoned customizer or someone who just bought their first paint set, you’ll find something here. I break down complex techniques, share hard-won knowledge, and occasionally rant about the injustices of droid labor laws.
The cantina upstairs might not appreciate my methods, but you will.
## Join Me in the Workshop
Subscribe to the YouTube channel, follow the social media feeds, and become part of the community. Together, we’re building something better than what they’re serving upstairs.
And who knows? Maybe someday they’ll let me back up there.
(They won’t. But a droid can dream.)
